It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to another one of SOHA.ES’s dedicated volunteers, Leslie Nash.

Les joined SOHA.ES right at the start. He was elected as the secretary to the committee where he worked tirelessly and with vision, helping SOHA.ES start the process which we have been involved with now for over 10 years.

Using his organizational skills and his ability to communicate with other members and groups, he was a valued asset to SOHA.ES. His gentle, kind yet strong nature was appreciated by most who were fortunate enough to know him.

He served two years in which he was instrumental in connecting us with other active groups in similar position as our members.

Les moved to the area in 2003 with his wife Janet and they were both a well respected part of the community around lake Vinuela.

His favorite saying stays with us; Nil illegitimi carborundum!

He passed away suddenly on August 15th in England.

We take this opportunity to convey our condolences to his wife Janet and the rest of the family.
