SOHA.ES Annual General Meeting will be held on the 12th of January 2011 at 19.30 at the Camping restaurant.
This meeting will be reflecting on the achievements of SOHA.ES during 2010, future plans for 2011, membership matters as well as the all important elections.
It is of utmost importance for as many members, friends and supporters to attend this meeting.

SOHA.ES quiz night/fund raising event
Will be held on Friday 10th of December at bar/restaurant Camping beginning at 8pm.
The cost of entry will be €5 per head with teams of up to 8 people. The entry fee includes a free ticket into the prize draw plus there will be cash prizes for the winning team.
Anyone who is able to contribute by way of prize donations should contact Pauline at [email protected]

We have received an email from the assistant producer at ITV (UK tv channel) about the Homes from Hell programme.
If you would like to put forward your own property situation for inclusion in the programme or even just provide background information please contact Laura directly. Her email address is and it would be helpful if you let her know that you are a member of SOHA.ES.
I believe that this is an urgent matter as they are planning to start on the series production in the next two weeks.

We would like to thank everyone who attended the fund-raising quiz at Atila Bar last night. Over 100 people attended the event and as a result of their support we were able to raise over €500
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Jo, Paul and all the staff at Atila’s for hosting the night and for their warm hospitality throughout the evening. Our thanks also go to Kim Witworth for his excellent hosting of the actual quiz and also to Linda Stevenson and Linda Bird for adminstering the raffle.
Last but not least, we would like to thank everyone who very kindly donated prizes for the raffle and to everyone who contributed to such an enjoyable and successful night. For more photos of the event see here.

As part of our on-going fundraising efforts we will be holding a Quiz night at Bar Atila’s on Saturday 22nd May 2010. We would like to thank Jo at Atila’s for agreeing to host the evening and very much hope that you will support us by entering a team. We are hoping to have a fun night with cash prizes available for the winners. We will also be holding a raffle on the evening and if anyone can contribute to the prizes please contact Pauline Greenway on 606441495 or pop in and see her at Zalia Properties in Cruce de Periana. Please support us in our efforts to raise much needed funds for our continued work against the actions of the Junta de Andalucia. The Committee are quite prepared to put in the hours on behalf of all our members but there are occasions when we cannot succeed without your help. This is one of those occasions……….

SOHA.ES fund raiser update,Yet another successfull event with lots of fun, not to mention that over a 1000 Euros was raised for SOHA.ES. Thank you to all who donated prizes for the raffle, and everyone who joined us on the night. Special thanks to Gary Miles for the entertainment, his prize offer, as well contributing his fees for the evening to SOHA.ES.
