Thanks to the very many loyal supporters of SOHA.ES who attended and enjoyed the SOHA.ES Grand Fiesta at the La Vinuela lakeside Visitor Centre on Sunday 25th September.

President Phil Smalley welcomed the guests and introduced the speakers.

Mario Blancke, SOHA.ES’s Spokesman, and Mayor of Alcaucín, explained the effects of the new changes to the LOUA, (the Junta de Andalucia’s planning laws).

Irene Rivera, National Deputy for Ciudadanos in the Spanish Parliament spoke of her continuing support for SOHA.ES.
Both Phil and Mario emphasised that this is only a first step, and that we will not rest until our homes are declared fully legal.

Pepe Perralobo and his wife Antonia then served more than 150 meals of barbecued chicken and secrets Iberico, after which John sang his amusing “SOHA.ES” song about ex-pat life here, and the evening’s entertainment was rounded off by the excellent Reggae-style band Mentally Ska’d.

Thanks also to the Fund-raising Team and others who helped to organise, publicise and present this informative and enjoyable event.
