Javier Gámez, a Spanish architect and SOHA.ES member is offering Energy Performance Certificates to SOHA.ES members for 200 Euros, no matter the size of the house. For every SOHA.ES member who employs him to do the certificate he will contribute 50 Euros to SOHA.ES.

Please note that this energy Performance Certificate is compulsory for all those owners who are selling or renting their property. They must have it from the moment they advertise their property for sale or rent. The Junta de Andalucia is issuing fines of up to 6000 Euros to those who don’t have this document. The certificates which last for 10 years, is something that most of us will do at some stage, but if we do it now, the member has this for a good price and SOHA.ES funds will also benefit.

Javier has also assured us that included in his fee, he will take care of the paperwork and registration of the EPC with the Junta de Andalucia. This part of the deal is normally offered by others for an additional fee.
