Lobo park and El Torcal report

The fund raising team organised a coach trip to the wolf park. We had an excellent guide Louise, who provided great information about wolf packs, their hierarchy and the family pack structure.

Louise also expelled many of the myths that we all have about wolves. It was fantastic to see the wolves in 20,000m2 + compounds living as natural as possible without human intervention. Everyone thought it was a great learning experience.
We got close to the wolves (within one meter) and the majority of people took photographs, which we are sure they will appreciate for many years too come. We think that everyone appreciated the research that the Lobo Park do towards the welfare and social interaction of wolves, both in the wild and in captivity.

We then went to Torcal, despite the initial clouds, the weather cleared, and with free time everyone went in different directions, some people had lunch, others went on walks, or studied the amazing geological structure of Torcal.
We thought it might be too long at Torcal, but the intervention of a very beautiful fox (photos to follow) made the Torcal experience worthwhile.

Many thanks to Jose of Periana autobus who was a great driver. When hope to see him again on our next trip to Gibralter on 27th November.
